Notarizations

We Come to You: Mobile Notary in Cape Coral

In short: A mobile notary is a commissioned Florida notary public who travels to the signer. Yanetsi Notary Services drives to homes, offices, hospitals and care facilities across Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres and Naples, in English or Spanish. The notary fee is capped by Florida law at $10 per act; the travel fee is quoted before the visit.

Step 1

What is a mobile notary?

A mobile notary is a Florida notary public who performs the same notarizations as an office notary, but at the place that suits the signer: a kitchen table, a hospital bed, a job site or a conference room.

In Southwest Florida that matters more than it sounds. Cape Coral is spread across more than a hundred square miles of canals and cul-de-sacs, many signers are older or recovering from surgery, and a lot of paperwork has a deadline attached: a closing date, a flight, a court filing. Waiting for an office opening, finding parking and bringing everyone who has to sign is often the hard part, not the notarization itself.

Mobile service is the core of how Yanetsi Notary Services works. There is no storefront: every appointment is either a visit to you or an online session. That keeps the schedule flexible and puts the notary where the signers already are, including bilingual families where one person reads English and another prefers Spanish.

Step 2

What do I need to have ready for a mobile visit?

  • A current photo ID for every signer

A Florida driver license or ID card, a US passport, a state ID from another state, or another ID that Florida accepts. It must be current or issued within the last five years.

  • The complete, unsigned document

Every page, with no blank spaces left to fill. Do not sign before the notary arrives: in most cases you must sign in front of the notary.

  • Witnesses, if your document needs them

Wills, powers of attorney and some deeds need two witnesses. Tell us when you book so we can plan who will be present.

  • A quiet place to sit and sign

A table, good light and about fifteen minutes per signer for straightforward documents.

Step 4

How does a mobile notary appointment work?

  1. 1

    Message or call

Tell us the document type, how many people sign, the address and when you need it. A photo of the first page helps us spot problems early.

  2. 2

Get the quote and a time

We confirm the travel fee, the number of notarizations and an arrival window, in English or Spanish.

  3. 3

    We arrive and check IDs

The notary confirms each signer's identity, checks that they understand what they are signing and are doing so willingly, and that the document has no blanks.

  4. 4

    You sign, we notarize

Each signer signs in front of the notary. The notary completes the certificate, applies the seal and records the act in the notary journal.

  5. 5

    Done on the spot

You keep the notarized document. If it needs an apostille or a translation next, we can take care of that too.

Often booked together with Notary Public Services, Power of Attorney Notarization, and Remote Online Notarization.

Most requested in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres, and available online anywhere.

Step 5

Frequently asked questions

How fast can a mobile notary come to me in Cape Coral?

It depends on the day's schedule and how far you are. Same-day visits are often possible when you message early, especially within Cape Coral. When a deadline is tight, say so in your first message and send a photo of the document so we can confirm it can be notarized as it is. We will tell you honestly if we cannot make your time.

Can you notarize for someone in the hospital?

Yes. Bedside notarizations are one of the most common reasons families call a mobile notary. The signer must be alert, able to communicate, understand what they are signing and have an acceptable ID. If the patient is sedated or confused, the notary cannot proceed, so check with the nurse about the best time of day before booking.

Do you visit assisted living and memory care communities?

Yes. Many facilities require visitors to sign in and may set visiting hours, so we plan the time with you and the front desk. For residents with memory loss, the notary must be satisfied that the person understands the document and signs willingly; if that is not clear on the day, the notarization cannot happen.

Is the mobile notary fee different from the notary fee?

Yes. Florida caps the fee for each notarial act at $10. The travel fee pays for driving to you and the time involved, and it is not a notary fee. We list both separately in your quote so you can see exactly what each part costs before you agree.

Can family members be the witnesses?

It depends on the document. Florida powers of attorney and wills need two witnesses, and it is safer when they are adults who do not benefit from the document. The notary cannot act as a witness and notary on the same document in most situations. Tell us the document type when you book and we will explain who can sign as a witness.

Do you travel outside Lee County?

We regularly travel to Naples and the rest of Collier County by appointment. For signers farther away, remote online notarization is usually faster and cheaper, because it happens by secure video and needs no travel at all.
